Potato, broccoli & cheese soup recipe

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the flowers off of the head of the broccoli and save the rest of the broccoli for another meal.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the broccoli in the butter over medium-high heat until the broccoli is soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring together until smooth.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

balaeddin: Took a mini-break but food iphonography is back. We had a thick creamy broccoli soup (mixed with lemon, onion) and crispy bread pieces sprinkled with sea salt. Daaaayum! Again, classic combo of Camera+, WB - Beach then imported with TiltShift Gen. Touched up brightness & contrast and voila. I actually have 2 food pro photo projects next week so I’ll be showcasing the behind the scenes setup while shooting with the 7D so stay tuned for those. :)

laboursavour: There’s a wonderful stand in Ann Arbor that’s only open a few hours a day for lunch and the line for it is a block long! It’s called Le Dog. Supposedly they have the best lobster bisque, but I’ve yet to try it! I always miss the days they serve it, but I’ve tried their other soups and I have to say, it’s the best soup I’ve had anywhere!
